Locations: Lakeview Hospital and Somerset Clinic
The Lakeview Heart Center, opened in August 2006, brings some of the best cardiologists from St. Paul Heart Clinic to the St. Croix Valley. This partnership between Lakeview Hospital, St. Paul Heart Clinic and United Hospital allows services like cardiology consultations, electrophysiology consultations, speciality clinics and various advanced diagnostic studies to be available in Stillwater. Physicians from Stillwater Medical Group have worked closely with cardiologists from St. Paul Heart Clinic for years and will refer patients to the new Lakeview Heart Center in order to provide the best heart care possible. Cardiology care is also offered at Stillwater Medical Group Somerset Clinic.
The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program (Location: Main Clinic) gives heart patients the resources they need to strengthen and improve the health of their heart through diet and exercise. Exercise physiologists work closely with patients to provide education and resources to live a long and healthy life.
Taking the Pressure Off: Reducing Your Blood Pressure
This class, lead by Lakeview Hospital dietitians, will teach you how to improve your eating and lifestyle habits to lower your blood pressure.
