The Clinic at Walmart
Stillwater Medical Group opened a retail clinic at the Oak Park Heights Walmart in December. The Clinic at Walmart offers preventive and routine healthcare for individuals over the age of 18 months, including the treatment of common illnesses, certain skin conditions and minor wound care. Common vaccinations, testing, and wellness and prevention screenings are also available. No appointment is needed. The Clinic at Walmart is open Monday through Friday, 9 am to 7 pm; Saturday 9 am to 5 pm; and Sunday 11 am to 5 pm. Most insurance plans are accepted. Flat fees, depending upon visit needs, are posted for those without insurance. Stillwater Medical Group staffs and operates the Clinic at Walmart. Urgent Care is still available at the Curve Crest Clinic.

Seasonal Influenza Vaccine
You may receive this vaccine during a regular visit with your provider, or you may schedule an appointment to receive the seasonal flu vaccine. To schedule an appointment call (651) 439-1234.

H1N1 Influenza Vaccine
The H1N1 vaccine is available to anyone who would like to be vaccinated. However, we are currently out of vaccine for children under the age of 4. We do not know when or if we will get another shipment of vaccine suitable for children under 4 years of age. If your child is in need of the H1N1 booster, please check with your county of residence as many of them are conducting vaccination clinics. Appointments for anyone over the age of 4 will be scheduled based upon availability. We will continue to vaccinate our patients while supplies last, but we do NOT guarantee availability. We will continue to monitor our supply and we may need to cancel your appointment if our supply runs out. Are Food Allergies Overdiagnosed?
The Today Show and New York Times featured stories on the overdiagnosis of food allergies. Dr. Steven Zekowski, Stillwater Medical Group's allergist-immunologist comments: Allergy skin tests and blood tests are subject to false positives and, much less often, false negatives. "False positive" means that a test shows up as positive in a patient who does not actually have an allergy to that food.
